New Vintage, a mainstay of the 90's national bluegrass scene is performing again with longtime singer songwriter Russell Johnson 
fronting a band of seasoned musicians. Joining Russell is the song-writing duo of Alice Zincone and Rick Lafleur, fiddler Clifton Preddy and guitarist Alan Mullen.

Originally formed in 1989, New Vintage rose to national prominence in the 1990's. During that decade the band released five critically acclaimed projects, three for Pinecastle Records that were top 10 CD's on the Bluegrass Unlimited National Bluegrass Survey.

New Vintage is a sound that melds the finest qualities of traditional and contemporary bluegrass in a style that moves forward within the genre, progressing without ever losing sight of it's bluegrass roots. New Vintage is the songs, voice and soul of mandolinist Russell Johnson, Rick Lafleur's solid banjo, Clifton Preddy's flawless fiddling, sharp guitar from Alan Mullen and the silky smooth vocals of Alice Zincone.
